Kuwait Finance House awarded best Islamic retail brand
KARACHI: Kuwait Finance House (KFH) has been awarded the Best Islamic Retail Brand of the year by MTI Consulting at the 15th World Islamic Banking Conference (WIBC) held in Bahrain.This is the first occasion such a prestigious and strategic award has been introduced at the WIBC since its inception. It recognises the growing dominance and importance of Islamic finance, in particular the need to harness and develop the retail Islamic finance market, which will provide the foundation for sustainable growth of the Islamic finance.
KFH was adjudged the winner because of its fast growing retail business, innovation in product development and successful branding initiatives. KFH’s robust growth in assets and revenues has helped the bank outperform its peers and the industry.
MTI Consulting study for the award covered top 50 publically listed Islamic banks across the globe and several Pakistani Islamic Banks were also short-listed for the survey. The selection criteria for the award included various aspects such as size of assets, size of revenues, business growth, branch network, innovation in product development, branding initiatives and social responsibility.
